A free service, with no guarantees

The service is free and provided as is, without any guarantee of availability, uptime or longevity.

A tracked QR code works only while this service runs. If it stops, every code that points at qrgo.page stops working. We may change or end the service; we will try to give notice, but we do not promise it.

For a code that must keep working no matter what, use a static code from the QR generator, which encodes your destination directly.

Links created without an account

A link created without an account expires after 7 days unless you sign in and claim it. After that, the code shows a “link expired” page and never points anywhere else.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service for phishing, malware, scams or spam, for content that is illegal, or to get around someone else’s blocking.

We check destinations automatically and act on reports. We may show a warning page before a destination, disable a link or close an account — without notice when a link puts the people scanning it at risk.

Usage limits

The service has usage limits (links per day, edits, API requests) that keep it free, and they may change. Automated use is welcome through the API with an API key; please do not try to get around the limits.

Your links

You are responsible for the links you create and where they lead. We claim no rights in your destinations.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses caused by the service being unavailable, by a link being disabled, or by what a destination contains.
